Located in Santorini, the so-called ‘’supermodel’’ of the Cyclades archipelago, Barolo restaurant excites our senses and offers a unique culinary experience based on authentic Mediterranean gastronomy. Overlooking the volcano and surrounded by white washed traditional buildings, Barolo serves a sense of peace and an unforgettable mesmerizing scenery.

The exquisite Mediterranean cuisine, led by Aggelos Manousakis, a charismatic executive chef and a master of harmony that allows his personality and passion to shine through every plate, Barolo is honouring the dynamics of the Mediterranean cuisine. The dishes combined with the aromatic and refreshing wines of Santorini, create an intimate atmosphere and evoke potent feelings and emotions. 

The main goal is to offer unique culinary creations along with an unforgettable hospitality experience.

Executive chef

Aggelos Manousakis, a charismatic executive chef with 14 years of experience in the field of gastronomy, successfully graduated from the department of tourism professions, culinary art technician and chef of IEK OMIROU in Athens.

During his professional career, he worked for 9 years in the catering business in the best estates of Athens as an executive chef. In addition, he worked as a chef de cuisine in a Thai restaurant in the center of Athens. Eventually, his creativity and talent led him to Fira, Santorini, creating from the beginning the excellent cuisine of Barolo.

The main goal of Manousakis is to further develop his gastronomic art and to express his passion for creation.

He is an excellent connoisseur of Mediterranean cuisine, and he utilizes in each of his dishes the treasures offered by the land of Santorini that gives another dimension to the word gastronomy.
